Daigo Saito has recently purchased the Dodge Challenger that was formerly driven by Sam Hubinette. This new addition to his V8 collection is being shipped straight from New Zealand (where Saml and Daigo competed in the Red Bull Drift Shifters event) to Japan to possibly compete in some form for the 2013 season. We have gotten a confirmation 100% he purchased the car but plans seem a tad unclear. This would be a great purchase for D1GP but seems quite overpowered for the tighter Formula Drift Asia courses. Daigo is rumored to also be building a new Dodge Viper for some drifting but no real informatin on on this project other than some passing rumors. We will keep you updated with the movements on these chassis but they sound pretty awesome.
